Grinding and sanding can take a toll on you machine so the Pioneer Eclipse 20" FM Floor Maintainer, Grinder & Sander is built with a die cast aluminum housing to give you a five times stronger casting than sand and other types material. The housing also holds solid machined steel, helical-cut planetary gears that transfers power from the robust 1 HP motor straight to your floor smoothly. If that isn't enough, the gears, oversized bearings, and seals also allow this unit to be used for decades of trouble-free performance. To protect your furniture and walls during operation, the base is made with vinyl bumper. The optional dust skirt is perfect for keeping dust contained for dusty jobs like sanding. A pad driver is not included, so be sure to pick up one along with some 20" scrubbing pads or 20" stripping pads for your new machine.
